3/11 Who could do it?

I believe everybody agree it was carried out by an organized team of criminals.

Taking in account every possibility, we may say that they are among these:

1.- Al Qaeda or any of its local cells.
2.- ETA: local terrorist group operating in Spain for the last 40 years.
3.- Spanish security corps.
4.- Foreign security corps.
5.- Any combination among the above.

That is: we cannot say it was not a coup.

3/11 trial: the sentence - part I

On last October, the 31st, the court ruling the trial against 29 indicted sentenced just 3 of them to blame for the attacks: Two Moroccans and one Spaniard. All those indicted as masterminds became acquitted.

Can we say prosecutors made their job?

Well, that's a matter of what that "job" was. If we think their job was to conduct a good investigation in order to bring to justice all those who played any role in the attacks, definitely prosecutors didn't do their job.

Do the official version stand after the sentence?

Public opinion was lead to think that it was Al Qaeda in retaliation for Spain's role at Iraq. The only one blamed for plotting the bombs is not a radical Muslim at all, neither the other Moroccan nor the Spaniard blamed too. All those said to be tied to Al Qaeda became acquitted. So, where is Al Qaeda?
